1. Part of the story takes place in the forest. It starts off as a scary place but becomes peaceful. Describe the changes that take the forest from scary to peaceful. Think abuot colour, shapes, size of the objects and the time of day. Draw a picture of a scary forest then draw another picture of a peaceful forest.
2. Dragons are mythical creatures that are found in many fantasy stories. Imagine if we were able to have dragons as pets. Create a full pet caretakers guide for a dragon. What would someone need to know to take care of their pet dragon? You could make a brochure, poster, powepoint or explain everything.
3. In the story, the dragon sits in the clouds above the forest, away from all the other animals. In the end, he follows the kiss and the knight back to the castle. Tell the story of why the dragon is so isolated from the other animals and how his life changes once he’s at the castle. You can make a comic strip, type out the story or make a powerpoint.
